Welcome to "Product Reviews."

Many folk have offered reviews of various machines and equipment in various places.

A forward-thinking member suggested a single place to share your opinions of various machines, accessories, gloves, hoods, consumables, etc.

You get the idea...

Here, we can put all those random opinions in one place.

Steve,
I like this idea. I for one get to play with a lot of different pieces of equipment as well as review new products and will try to post them here. I believe I have some posts scattered throughout the forum and will try to compile them here.

Do second hand things count? I'm too poor to buy new.

bought this morse 9" circular saw for cutting sheets
i have only used it on 1/8 and 1/4 inch 6061 but its
great. catches a fair amount of chips in chip catcher
but i still put up a screen to prevent chips from flying
all over the shop. i will probably try to use it outdoors
when possible. cuts clean and straight no blade wobble.
morse makes blades for alum, thick steel (3/8) and
thin steel.
as soon as i try some steel ill post results.

I'd say its of more interest. Then you'll know how they hold up to some years of use and abuse.
Most tools are great when new

Credit goes to member "Wobulate". Excellent suggestion, and while only a day old, it's seeing traffic.

Good thinking!

I'm going to put a pinned reminder at the top, to avoid the commercial types.

Crraig, This is the place, New products will just get the next spot in line, and we'll end up with a heap of different products on the one thread, not spread everywhere.

Perhaps so, but this is a new experience. This intro post will slowly be buried at the bottom, as the new sub-forum develops individual product topics, so no harm, no foul. If you like, I can split your Morse review into a separate topic, or you can just make your own if you wish, or we can do nothing and watch where this goes.

New territory...

Interesting idea, however if someone searches, usually they will use "search title only" because otherwise it seems to return way too many results. Try Lincoln, Miller, Everlast etc. Might end up with a hundred page thread that people well not want to read through to see if the item of interest is mentioned. I still see lots of duplication. Take "what welding hood" or something. Still gets asked over and over again.
