Just received my everlast 256si inverter unit, I had ordered it directly thru everlast. Burned 2 rods fine however began making a whining noise when burning a rod and seems like arc length directly affects the noise I'm extremely new to smaw I'm not sure how to attach a video but it sounds almost like a teapot thats boiling any help is appreciated i reached out to everlast today and am waiting for a response

more info. what rod are you using,,,,what are the settings,,,, I have the D model and never heard a tea pot sound.

Some inverters will make a whine sound. I’ve even had miller max stars do it.
