Stick Welding Tips, Certification tests, machines, projects

Hey there fellow welders! I am expected to test on either a C276 plate or pipe test, and I have never welded this kind of ss before. If you have any tips, on type of electrode, amperage, prep and anything else on how I could pass this test, that would be highly appreciated. I have welded ss before with 308/309. I am a construction boilermaker and most of my experience is in stick welding. Thanks c:

Well for starters, you can forget what you know about SS because this is a nickel based alloy from the Hastelloy Series made (primarily) by Haynes International. :D

How does it differ besides the alloy content? How does it differ from welding it?
