Running welder off generator ok?

I was thinking of buying a Lincoln Invertec V275-S stick Welder, but using a generator to power it sometimes (230 volt). Is this a problem? Thanks-

as long as the generator can handle the power draw of the welder you should not have a problem. Check the parameters of the welder and the generator carefully to make sure .
