Welding Tips and Tricks

I have been practicing on this test for the last 2 months it seems that i can get the uphill part and the top of the coupling but the bottom of the coupling it looks like .... I call it seagul poo. Im using 316 rod at approx 60amps i cant go any lower then 55 amps and no higher then 75 amps any tips would help thanks.
