Welding Tips and Tricks

Does anyone own this machine? I currently have a miller Thunderbolt 225/150 AC/DC, but am thinking the 300 would be all I'd ever need. Plus I can use my current 50 amp circuit in the garage. I also own the PowerTig 250EX and its SMAW is absolutely great! So I figured their 300 would be too.

I have a question though, what is "Surge Intensity"? It has this control in addition to the "Arc Force" or dig setting.
