I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for, but here's what I found there.
http://www.millerwelds.com/resources/bo ... hlets.html
http://www.jflf.org/papers/JFLF-Technical-Papers.aspx
http://www.millerwelds.com/resources/calculators/
Also, there's lots of information at http://www.scribd.com/
You'll have to get creative with your search 'keywords' to find what you want.

The Lincoln Foundation has what you are looking for at a reasonable price.
There are five pages of books listed at the following website.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but...
you should try the search engine on http://www.scribd.com
there's a huge resource of free books there.
Some are free, some are not. but you can read them online for free.
The way that I used this website is to select the 'Documents' tab and not the books.
Then, I select the 'Free Only' tab and the book length of 'Over 100 pages' tab.
The search results are overwhelming and you will soon have information overload.

Hey,
All jokes aside, that is an awesome way to reach a super tight spot with the stick, Just slide the electrode in to your tight spot, no risk of arc strikes because its "cold" then hit the torch switch, hey presto h/f tig welding.

Hey, if you or anyone still needs a free kick ass welding manual I got one for you!
Just google "TC9-237" I found several floating around on the web.
It's the Army's welding theory and design bible. Like all government documents it public domain unless restricted.(hush, hush stuff) I use it all the time as a Army welding/machinist instructor.
It covers everything that has to do with metalworking. It's a huge manual.
Hope it helps.

The easiest one to get is on metalwebnews.org
The one on the .mil domain requires government acess credentials. Which I have.
Warning. It's 13megs so it'll take a bit to load but trust me, it's worth it. I think I have the thing memorized.
