Mike,
Hey you cant bait us like that!! I want my pics!!! I am glad you like the machine. When you get comfortable with the machine I would like to hear what you think of it over all and how you like its other features as well. Sitting at the edge of my seat for those pics

Good to hear man - I knew you'd like it
Just shut off my v250 - it was rocking 140 amps all evening (basically barely working), they weld really nice.
Wait....no pics of the new machine and welds?? What's up with that??

Welded grader blades together today to make thick enough pieces for the tines.
Took over 10 1/8" 7018 rods each - haven't even done the feet yet.
Going to use it to rip up blacktop from my driveway

Mike,
It might just be me, but these Invertecs like Jet LH 78 7018 better than Excailiber.
Expecially vertical up.
FWIW.
BTW,
I knew you'd like that machine.
Millers can't hold a candle to them.

Don't worry, the lack of numbers bugged me the first day too - after you get used to it you won't care anymore.mike boyer wrote:O.R. Knife edge..3/32 gap @ 90 amps(on the Everlast)..3/32 excaliburs out with the lincoln @ 65-75 ??? YEA..A readout would be great......
It's more about what the puddle looks like and how it's behaving than what the numbers say on the dial anyway
(still would have been nice to write a few more on there though...)
Looking good

Mr. Boyer...
I just want to congratulate you on your new machine. I have been hovering on this forum for awhile now and I have paid attention to many of your posts because they usually address topics that I am also concerned about. Im about a year into welding and I am a UA member. I will master pipe one day too haha.
I'll get to know you guys better in coming months. Just wanna let you guys know how refreshing it is to see all the support given to members on this site, as opposed to another site im also a member of. Jody has got something special here and I want to be a part of it as well.
Keep up the good work Mike
