Now that I have a syncrowave 250, any reason to hold on to my Stickmate LX for stick welding?? I am thinking I can let it go. I just do hobby stuff and repairs around the house. 7018, 7014, 6013, and 6011

The Syncrowave 250 is a great machine and will be able to do everything you would want for repairs around the house. With that said I would say if you want to sell the Stickmate for the extra money that is up to you. You really don't need both especially when the Syncrowave will TIG weld. Extra cash can get you a few new toys as well. Just a thought.

As I reply, I've not read all posts yet, but I take it you got at least one of those SW250's running?

I'd say, sell, once you're confident the SW is reliable and the spare has the parts you need to keep it that way.

Yes, one Syncro runs fine (for SMAW, still waiting for my pedal to try TIG). The other one runs but it is stuck on "KILL" setting....I need to trouble shoot it. Probably a control board, but I haven't dug into it at all yet.
