So I'm curious if anyone has tried out any of the Walter bio circle products and what your thoughts of them may be any pros and cons etc.

The main one I'm interested in that claims to be a replacement to acetone. Can't quite recall the name of it though.

I'm very interested to know if anyone has tried it for tig welding aluminium as a substitute for a acetone wipe down

So turns out I might be crazy, I've been looking back through Walters catalog and can't seem to find a Biocircle product that says it is a acetone replacement.

Closest I can find is one that says it will replace brake kleen etc.

However I still inquired with waltrr about a demo of their bio circle products and will see how they are etc.

Will update if I ever stumble across what cleaner it was that I was thinking of to replace acetone.

Don't know their products, but they list the 'FT 200' line as a degreaser suitable as a preparation for welding:

https://www.walter.com/products/environ ... ing/ft-200

More specifically the 'SURFOX' line mentions it's a replacement for Acetone:

https://www.walter.com/en_US/products/w ... x-pre-weld

Hope that helps...

Bye, Arno.

Thanks so much for confirming I'm not crazy and making up products again (I've done it before in my head while thinking about things etc)

I think I shall purchase a bottle if I can get my hands on it and do some tests and see what happens.

Thanks again
