I always knew ER4043 and that ER stood for Electrode or Rod but what is EA? I been searching aws classifications but I can't seem to find any information on it.

Could it be a typo?

Just a guess. Maybe somebody wrote EA instead of ER by mistake?

I did some more researching. It's an alcotec filler. I think that's a manufacturer number.
