Never tried that. Welded TIG with up to 75% helium (approximately... was mixing through a Wye with Ar), in HFAC, and still kept arc-balance somewhat Neg. It was for thick sections, though, requiring high amps even with the He.
Actually, never tried TIG of any kind with straight He, though I have the opportunity.
Sooner or later, I'll experiment.
