I am currently running straight argon for my tig welding. If I go with a 50/50 mix for aluminum as suggested here on this site will this mix work just as well for all other applications such as steel and other metals......thanks in advance Wayne

It might work ok...might even work better on some thicker steels. but it is unecessary and might be too hot for thin steel and stainless.

i recommend only using the mix for aluminum,
