Ok guys need to connect a SS 316L 5/8 OD .035 wall tube to a 1/4
thick cold roll mild steel flange.
It's not a tig job, trust me. The tube goes through the flange at
odd angle and the fit is to sloppy for tig and I
have about 50 to do.
I need to braze or silver solder the connection.
I know that SS can be silver soldered to mild steel,
I've seen it done years ago but I have no idea what
grade rod was used of what kind of flux is needed.
Thanks
