This is why I love this forum everybody's friendly and will help you out me only having 2 years welding experience but want to make a career out of it later in life I have a lot of questions and everyone always helps

They even respect guys with 4yrs experience, like me.

Anyway,
Mainly DC tungsten choice differs with machines.
Some like thoriated, some like ceriated, others lanthinated.
My miller Maxstar 200, liked ceriated, and my SW175 liked lanthinated.
Just your preference.
