Contamination in personal tanks is a big problem that occurs. All the shops I have worked at have used massive tanks outside that have meters on them that measure the quality of gas. When welding at home I will usually just bleed out the last eighth or so of a tank. You really notice it on aluminium when you get to the bottom of the tank everything go to crap.

Here I go resuscitating an old post/subject. After seeing Jody's video today comparing ER70s-2 with ER70s-6.I realized that using ER70s-4's was most likely the problem in my case.
