ive been doing some practice on thin walled stainless pipe and was wondering if im on the right track

Omg are u kidding? Can you please tell your setup? If you look next thread i ve opened i have some trouble welding ss.what thickness, filler rod, ampeeage, cfh and post flow you have?

Looks very nice. You seem to have a knack. If you have any butt weld pics and pics of your set up please post to help others.

i wish i could get some more spare time to get more time welding, i need to set up more drills for pracitice to get my beads mor consistant.

ill post some pictures of the setup and prep tomorrow

im using a Lincoln PT275 with foot control, a weldcraft wp20 torch with extra lagre pyrex gas lense.
2.4mm tungsten with 1.2mm 316 filler gas flow is 22lpm which is about 45cfm.
machine is set to 85amps no pulse, but im welding at about 35-40amp the pipe was back purged with about 4lpm flow
