I have used 3/32 thoriated, ceriated and now 1.5% lanthanated on a 185 power tig everlast. Welding alu the 1.5 lanth came out on top barly rounding at 185 amps the ceriated started to split at 165 and the thoriated came in last welding great at first the spliting after about four sec of welding at 120 amps. All tests done at 70% en 17cfh and 120hz. Im sure there are diff results out there but lanthanated seems to kick ass even the 1.5
