I had to pull out the old pedal the other day because I had to use my knee to control the pedal and figured the basic pedal had a higher lift, and more pressure was needed to push it down. Since I was using my knee, it sounded like a good idea
Worked out well and I repaired my friend's sway bar that was sheered in half. Surprisingly the weld held up for over 60 miles of highway including curves, bumps, etc. Couldn't go wrong either since it was already sheered off. He's replacing it in the next couple days too and pulling the bar out of the car would not have shown us the gap, nor would we have had the right alignment so it was a crappy, tight job, but the old pedal showed it still had value over the SSC even if the SSC racks for everything else.
