New equipment ESAB question help.

My wife bought me a welder but unfortunately I wanted a mig and she bought me (through a friend) a brand new ESAB ET 201i DC kit (tig). I search all the internet and could not find the price of this unit as I need to sell it to buy the ESAB rebel I want. Can anyone tell me what the cost of this unit maybe new? Any help would be appricated. Thanks as I am a newbie

What did your spouse pay for it? That is your value. If your "friend" screwed you're spouse on the price, I'd have a talk with that "friend"...

I would say it will sell for $250 to $500 on the used market. ESAB has very poor resale value compared to Lincoln and Miller. I'd pay $250 for it.

What? Sell a TIG to get a MIG? If your a hobbyist or a smaller type fabricator, TIG will allow you to do so much more.
I have a TIG and Stick welder in my shop, that's all I ever want to use, not a big fan of MIG.
