I have a 17 series Air cooled torch and have a stubby gas lense kit that i use from time to time. CAn i use a series 9 Fupa cup? or any 9 series cup for mater?

They sell a 17 series kit so I would assume so or just call them up.

maybe i will have too. im just trying to keep the size down.

The stubby gas lens collet will accept any threaded 9/20 cup, but not the FUPA cup. The stubby gas lens collet does not have a provision machined to accept the O-ring needed to make the FUPA cup work. If you just put the O-ring on just past the threads, it ends up being squished, butted up right against the teflon insulator used on the stubby gas lens setup, so the FUPA cup has no where to really slide over to stay in place.
