Hey, folks!

We're stoked to announce a new marketplace for new and used tools called WeldmongerTools.com!

This forum has served its purpose well for classifieds, and we have no plans to replace it, but our new website is going to make it super easy to sell your tools online, and to get paid quickly and securely. There is also an option to either ship your item(s), or to offer local pickup, or both.

What we need right now is listings! So if you're excited to turn a few under-used tools into cash, and you have a few minutes, head on over to WeldmongerTools.com and create an account and a listing. It will only take you a few minutes, and could have a big payoff. :D

Let's make Weldmonger Tools the very best online marketplace for new and used tools!

Guys, thanks so much for the feedback and positivity.

After a lot of deliberation, we've decided that the platform currently powering WeldmongerTools (called ShareTribe) is NOT engineered to be a lasting success for our very valued members. We're going to hang onto email addresses and let folks know when we find the best solution, but for now, we're putting WeldmongerTools on hold.

Trust us... When we get it up and running again, it will be ready to rip and you'll be able to sell your tools, make some cash, and support some worthy causes in the process. Details coming soon.

Be well and thanks for coming along for the ride.

Jody, you probably are aware of this by now, but WordPress makes an excellent platform for building a retail site. There are dozens of plugins for adding shopping carts and products. Check out Woo Commerce.

apart from this looks to be from a few years ago, i'm not sure its all that great.
sorry to be a downer but we have had online sale startups here, but they just can't compete with the established sites.
its a huge workload to manage and unless you can offer something drastically different, most people stick with the existing sites.
