Get a very large bowl of popcorn and a 12 pack of beer as this is the extended (EP) version.
But you will probably get a few chuckles out of it along the way. But in the end, it's good info. Just can't figure out why the video is so long.

Yep make one that is the best way to get what you want. I made mine out of some square tubing I had laying around.

I've never seen one of these as a production item for sale, then again that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Making one is really the best option, the design is only limited by your imagination, it can be simple or as complex as you like. I would venture to say that no matter what design you decide on, and build, it won't work for every job. At some point you'll need something else, I've used a vice grip to clamp a flat bar to the weld table, a block of wood or aluminum to rest my hand on, propped my hand on the cylinder cap (argon cap, etc..)
No matter what you build please post some photo's here so we can see.

That is part 2 of the video I linked above that I used to make mine.
It is where he further enhanced the tool with the offset piece.

Also, a bar clamp to the table makes a vertical. Then a second clamp (clamped to the first) sticks out sideways.
It's what I use when I need a rest in a weird position or up high.
