Since, I believe, a Mig machine is a constant amperage (current) machine am I correct that, after I make all of the proper set-up connections, the only Tig welding I could do with a 200 amp mig machine would be at 200 amps? I know this is not the ideal way to tig weld but am I correct in my assumption?

Mig is constant voltage
Stick and TIG is constant current (amps)
