I need to buy some 2% 3/32 tungsten. Any recommendations.......any I should stay away from?

What are you trying to weld? Or just 'everything'.

I agree, buy from Jody/support the site, as a beginner.

(Even considering Jody's bias, might also ponder 1.5%)

Any 'fits-all' is (a hopefully acceptably) compromise on all.

Go with 2% lanthanated all day everyday for everything lol But CK worldwide, Weld porn pink tip and Arc zone "ArcTime sky blue" are all great ones to go with. If you buy CK though you should get it from weldmonger.com because i like to support Jody when possible.

The internet is full of thoriated NOS. I've bought hundreds cheap. I feel thoriated is very similar to lanthanated. Thoriated contains a trace level of radioactivity. Some people avoid it for that reason.
