Made a good start to this job. Sent the tubes to a CNC Mandrel Bender works to bend up a bunch of candy canes to reduce the number of welds by over half.
Finally received the tubes from the bending works. All A269 316L tube.
Every piece had green on it, had to make 100 cuts.
adjusted my autogenous pulse settings settings and cut one up to confirm penetration. All good, into it now.
One down
A few more down
All ten done, leak tested, wire wheeled. 100 butts.
Lookin good
Made up the jig to assemble the circuits into coils. Can't go further, waiting for steel delivery that's one week late. Imagine bad words here.
Made up the suction header. 2" sched10 316L
So far 2.5 days work. Beer o'clock now.

Hi Mike,
Nice to hear from you, been a while. I’m afraid it’s a symptom that’s spreading. Nobody wants to keep stock of materials anymore and when they say it’s in stock they mean a warehouse interstate.

Very NIce ! Wish I could get myself going on projects like that. 70 years on this planet and I can't figure out what I want to be. The other planet I was a newspaper reporter wearing a blue suit. Happy I found you folks.
Got the steel delivery. Did some work.
One coil done.
Two coils done.
Weld on suction header and distributor lead buttons to inlet pipes
Weld on bracing and stirrer motor mounts
Silver solder copper suction extension
Silver solder on distributor leads, distributors and TX valve fitup.
Leak test with ultra-sonic, and big blue soap bubble
Pressure tested 24hrs.
All good, no leaks. Fab work is done. Allowed one week, done on budget.
Assembly of stirrer and fit to tank is all that's left.
Dirty deeds done dirt cheap.

Haven't been around for a while. Need to get back in the game. I've got a few projects on the go, and a super new hobby in my sights.
