I'm using a water cooled #9 torch with a gas lens, the problem I'm having is, if I use a cup bigger than a #7, (specifically a #8 ceramic, #10 pyrex, and a number #12 pyrex) then I can't get the gas to cover properly, regardless of how far I turn it up, going from 10cfh upto 40cfh in increments of 10. A #7 works perfectly. I'm stumped, it literally only happens when I put the cups on.

You may need to post pictures of your different setups.
I have more questions than answers

Pictures of gas lens, cups, and how you assemble the #8 ceramic and #12 pyrex please.

With a #8 and a gas lens, I can run 20CFH all day long. I tend to run lower unless I really need some extra stick out.
