I have been trying to figure out how to adapt the ck flex hose to my Syncrowave 250. The advice received so far is to use a dinse adapter. My machine does not use a dinse style connector. It has a 5/8-18 thread fitting. the ck flex hose has a 3/8 fitting. where can I find a reducer to make this work. Surely I'm not the first to have this problem. Thanks in advance.

I am sure being in front of the machine might tell you otherwise, but it probably helps to check out their specifications.
Specs:
http://www.ckworldwide.com/dinse-gas-cooled.html
The Syncrowave 250 DX according to the CK literature should use part number SL2-35 for the CK17 torch. That is a Dinse 35 1/2" connector with a separate gas in hose separate from the dinse.
Good luck. CK stuff can be hard to figure out at times. Calling them might be a good start as well. You did say it doesn't have a dinse so their specs might be of no help.

My machine is not a 250DX. It is a plain syncrowave 250. If you look at the CK applications, they do not show an adapter for a plain 250. They show 200 series ,250DX, and other 200s but not a 250. Thanks for the reply.

Give CK a call tomorrow. I'll bet they have what you're looking for. Good people!

I never had a syncrowave so maybe quite wrong - but outside of the states the most common torch fitting is 3/8" BSP - CK list 3/8" ( BSP ) for most every torch - but that's the nominal bore size - OD on that thread is very close to 5/8" so is it possible they have what you want but just the way the tread is designated is causing confusion ? - I do agree a call to them will clarify it - or just buy the cheapest option & make an adapter on a lathe to suit which is what I normally do.

I received my new CK 17 torch set yesterday and guess what? The Miller Syncrowave 250 requires NO adapter to use the CK hose. Thanks to everyone who replied.

I am not sure why you wouldn't add DINSE connectors to your Syncrowave. I did and it makes life easy. I fabricated my own "adapters"

Amen to the Dinse! I do the same at home. We do it at work as well. All the Miller’s and Lincoln’s have adapters when they leave the shop so you know what your getting when you call for a machine.

My first time on here, and I find this.
Brilliant. I've had my Miller S/W 250 for decades now, and am currently looking at various options - DINSE Adapters will make things easier.
Thankyou
