Hello Gents
Noob question here.
Just purchased the Furick Ally 5 from our host. I have the CK17 FX head that I want to put it on & can't get the insulator off the 17
Hate to destroy the insulator getting it off.
Suggestions

I dont have that particular torch but I'd hazard a guess the insulator is held on by a rubber lip on the torch head.

Sometimes can feel a bit stuck but try pulling on one side more than the other.

May even need a small flat head screwdriver to "break" the seal on the lip so to speak. (Least that's what be I had to do to get mine off)

My water cooled CK Trimline300 has the same insulator and it was a pain to take off. It has a ridge that it sits on that is very tight. Just keep prying carefully and it will come off.
