Hi every one,

I have a miller 330 a/bp welder that ive had for about 10 years. Well yesterday I went out to strike an arc and I had no gas flow after the valve under the front cover.

Does anyone have a testing procedure for these valves? Are they 240v are they 12v I'm not sure where to start with this thing. I have gas to the valve.

Thanks for the guidance

If you can open it up there should be a label on the valve/coil that tells you the voltage. I’d recommend just powering it down (unplug it). And ohm out the coil. If a solenoid goes bad lots of times the coil is open.

Also check that the post flow timer is sending power to it.
In my case, it was a bad timer, solenoid was good.
