Hi
i am new to forum....My problem began after he winter here in BrooklynNY USA...
My Lincoln TIG 225 was working fine during the summer time...
but recently i tried ,, plugged in 220 amp wall outlet and the plug started fuming, getting hot at point of melting the plug it self....switched the plug for a new one and not luck obtained...3 new plugs later , still not luck..
Tried my second welding Lincoln TIG 275 and "no problem",,, definitely not the current issue ,, wall current switch is fine.
PS. replaced the cable on the 225 and not luck..it keeps burning the (machine itself) wall plug,, (not the outlet on the wall)
Any suggestion or idea it would be greatly appreciated.
PS.. If any technician nearby,, i am willing to pay for(7188126769) help,, i would hate to rid of this great machine.

Sounds like a bad connection. Replace or check the wall plug. The prongs are probably loose or sprung.

perhaps ya got a mouse in the house. Might have to open up the machine and take closer look at the connections. I had one move in ... once. Made quite a mess with things.
