I bought a 1934 hot rod truck frame from Boling Brothers and I need to weld my motor mount and also brackets for the axle. The frame is 0.111" thick and the mounts are 0.187" (3/16). Picture below is a pulse welded cross member and I am trying to replicate it and also my Primeweld TIG welder panel. In the YouTube link below at time 3.00, you can see him welding the motor mount without foot pedal and pulse welding. Because my frame is sitting low on ground, I will not be able to use foot pedal and would like to use a button on my TIG torch. I still learning TIG welding.
Can anyone please give me some staring point on my settings for Current, 2T & Pulse so it's closer to what is on YouTube Video at time mark 3.00 ?
Thank you,
