CK alternative?

I’m looking for a water cooled torch to replace my CK #17 flex air cooled. Will a #20 water cooled use the same sized consumables from the #20 air cooled? What’s a good alternative to CK that is priced better?

Consumables are the same. I use and like Miller brand torches, but CK are also very good. A 20 is a 20 in terms of comparability but not quality.
Torch parts and torches are not a sensible place to save money.

I think that a 20(water cooled) series torch is the same family(parts) as a 9(air cooled)series torch.
The 18 series torch is the water cooled version of a 17 series air cooled torch.
Bottom line: 17 & 18 are interchangeable. 9 & 20 are interchangeable. 17 is not interchangeable with 9 or 20.
Look up praxairprostar catelog to see torch series parts breakdowns.

So then I’d be looking for an 18 water cooled, good to know! Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. I wasn’t looking to go ebay cheap but just something that could save a few bucks. The CK is really nice.

I have a CK Torch kit for sale. It's the TL 18/300 that came with my TIG welder, 25 ft leads with 9mm quick disconnects. It's very new, probably less than 3 hrs on it if you are interested. LMK if interested.
