I have a 20 cubic foot tank for my MIG welder. It's probably the smallest size of tank you can get at approximately 16" tall. I just got it filled with 75% Argon/25% CO2. I'm wondering what PSI this size of tank should read when full? It's reading 700 PSI after being filled.

That sounds low. My 18cf hobby argon is 1400 and I don't like that.

Near the top, or on the neck, look for the letters DOT. The standard, such as 3AA follows, and then the rated pressure in PSI. This applies in the USA, other standards are used in different countries.

Mine says DOT-3AA2015. So I'm guessing my tan is rated to 2015 PSI?

You got ripped off. Should be at least 2000psi, give or take +/- 100 psi for temperature changes
