I need to weld 16 gauge aluminum. I only have 3/32 tungsten and filler rod right now. I have a 200 amp inverter machine with pulse. Can I weld 16 gauge aluminum with 3/32 tungsten and rod?

The 3/32" Tungsten size would probably be my choice, so shouldn't be a problem. The 3/32" rod might be a bit too large. I would probably grab 1/16" rod myself, but I believe some welders like a larger rod for the added heat control it allows.
What alloy of aluminum are you welding? What alloy of rod?

The only aspect of filler rod size is to control how much of it you introduce into the puddle. If you have thin filler and need to fill a large gap, simply stuff more filler in. The opposite is also true. Thin material, small weld, just introduce less filler.

I don't think I have ever seen 4043 sheet. Where did you get it?
