14 vs 5 pin connector

My foot petal has a 5 pin connector and my tig has a 14 pin connector. Where do I buy a 5 pin female to go on the tig? What is a reasonable price for this?

You can buy a 5 to 14 pin adapter. Miller has them, as does ProFax, and I'm sure others do. The last time I priced one it was under $20.

If you want to change the machine to (or add) a five-pin female, look for it as a replacement part for an older Miller or Lincoln TIG machine.

The 14-pin connector acually uses 6 pins; The extra is for the cable shield, which often hooks up with a clamp on 5-pin pedals.
