Hello,
I would like to buy a new torch with hose SuperFlex WP-9 aircooled but I do not know what cable length is better if 12 feet or 25 feet
Is there any difference in the welds if the power cable is short (12feet ) or long (25 feet) ??????
I weld aluminum and steel

thanks a lot

You won't notice any difference at all.

I'd go with the longer lead, as you won't be so restricted in what you can reach without moving the machine.

It's an air-cooled torch, so your limits will be determined by your cycle time.

Depends on your application. At my job we only use the twelve foot cause everythind is done on the bench or turn table, one is mounted on top of the bench other is kinda a sepetate deal right next to the bench. At my home shop I have both machines set up with the twenty five so I don't have to drag the machines around.

if your buying, strongly consider looking at ck flex lock torch in the photo! it can have have the std. vinal cable or the super flex hose. not only is the rotating head a nice option for any weld, the super flex hose just makes it really easy to be comfortable! i bought one and went a step farther by ordering the extra head. the heads are interchange-able. this is great because you can chose large or small consumbles for the task in hand. i bought the 25ft and have no problems. its great for jobs off the welding table. weldfabulous.com has great prices on the flex lock!
