I made it this far merging a smaller (~2 inch) exhaust pipe into a larger 3 inch pipe (stainless steel), but I could not complete the weld because my #12 nozzle was too big! :P Is there a better nozzle size you experienced welders would recommend so I can finish the top of this merge section?

And YES, I tried all different angles with the torch and protruding the tungsten out, it just won't fit :( .

That torch would be a option. Have you tried a standard number 4 or a long neck number 3 or 4. You could probly get that to work and since its such a tight area still shoulg get good sheilding. If it firs but not good enough shielding you could make a argon out of tin foil to trap some argon.
