Foot petal or new torch?

I just recently bought my first tig machine. A thermal arc 201 ts Dc inverter. I've been practicing quite a bit and im throwing down decent beads. I feel like I am being limited by the torch being big and how I have to hold it a certain way cause of the amp control on the torch. I know I can buy a foot petal for around $160. Which I think I am going to do first. Would it be worth it to buy a stubby gas lens kit for the torch or should I just go with a whole new smaller torch? any advice on what I should do would be much appreciated

Air gas has a torch kit that comes with a torch and interchangeable heads, its a little pricey but well worth it if you plan on doing a lot of odd jobs. CK industries also makes "gas saver" lenses. its the same as a gas lens with a clear pyrex cup and you can actually buy kits that use the same lens but fit three different tungsten sizes with the change of your collet and one other piece. they're also cheaper and the small one is the same size as a small gas lens with a 5/8 cup. but definetley opt for a new foot pedal.
