My first TIG welds

Below is a pic of My first TIG welds. Yesterday My new EVERLAST POWER PRO 205S came in and today even though I have no idea how to set up the dam thing, I said what the hell and gave it a go. Any and all criticism welcome.
One thing I noticed was that while welding the aluminum even when I didn't dip in the puddle it almost seemed to jump
up to the tungsten, just wondering if any one knows what causes this.

Does anyone have some type of settings chart for tig cause this manual dont say squat.
in this pic the alum angle on top is 1/16'' and the alum flatbar in the center is 3/16'' and at the
bottom is 1/8 steel square tubing.
