Simple purge system

Here is a simple purge system I put together from pneumatic (automation) parts.
They are cheap, many different options and relatively easy to find.
Beginning at the regulator with an Y-block and and connecting an oxygen hose. (Yes I know, a dual regulator would have been better and easier to set. Maybe next time...) Other end is where the pneumatic parts come in.
Put in a shut off valve so I can balance the flow then go over to polyurethane tubes. The final end, this is where a bit of creativity comes to play.
Almost anything can be connected. Purge blocks, trailing shoes whatever you need.
In this case I domed some 1,5mm SS sheetmetal to cover the backside when welding in fittings.
Using the centerhole to clamp the fitting.
Backside, no cleaning or brushing done after the weld was done
No sugaring at all, even though the penetration could be commented
Im using an air silencer as a diffusor. Works great and cost about 3c in this size (1/4" BSP pipethread)
I saw on a photo that Jonathan, superiorwelding, use silencers too so it has to be good I want a CK Micro torch...
I ground a small slot on the washer to let the air escape out at the highest point.
