Hi everyone
On my dialarc 250hf, I can weld aluminum up to about 1/8" thick, but if I want to go faster or weld something thicker, the puddle starts jumping around and becoming very sporadic. It's almost like there is so much gas flow that it's blowing the puddle around but I'm only using about 20 cfm. It results in a roughed up jagged kind of look, not the smooth dimes like it should be.
I've welded with syncrowave and inverters at work for 40 hours a week for the last 4 years so I know how to weld aluminum, just need to figure out what the deal is with this machine.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
