The shop up the street was working on a 69 Firebird and blew a hole in the exhaust manifold. They asked if I could fix it and although I had never done anything with cast iron I said I would give it a shot. The following video link details what I did to patch up the manifold. Thanks for watching.

I watched the old boss do this so many times that i can't even remember them all but i never saw him do it so fast. He always heated them in a grill for about an hour, brazed them with flux, oxy fuel and silicone bronze, then cooled them back down incrementally in the grill.
I was really expecting that to be cracked when you took it out of the bucket.
