I plan to go to the dealer u bought the machine from but I wanted to see if anyone here has a idea what mite be going on. I bought a new razorweld 180 mig tig and arc machine 3 weeks ago. Due to time I didnt want to hold the store owner up any more due to it being past closing time.

Once I got home I started to play with it some. Couldn't get it to work correctly. Weld were crap regardless on setting. I could weld if the heat was down low but any higher it just burned up tips and made more head aches. Last night playing with it I noticed that when you pull the trigger on the gun for mig the wire speed stays the same. If I push the button on the machine inside the wire spool door I can speed up the wire feed and slow it down. But again once i hit the gun trigger the wire speed stays the same no matter the speed setting I use.

By heat I suspect you mean voltage. In which case it seems your wire feed is not working properly, since increasing the voltage increases the arc length, up to the point where you end up getting the arc inside the tip and ruining it. Are there any other controls on the welder that you are able to adjust somehow? Don't see how, but just making sure.

I looked at it more today read the operators book some more checked for anything outside of the machine that may have been messed up didnt find anything. The wire feeder stopped working completely. I hear clicking inside the machine but not action at the feeder.so it looks like it will go back to where I got it and hope it's nothing serious
