Good morning!
I'm currently a fabricator for a signage shop and we're pushing our abilities further. Recently we've started R&D for a light project that includes some brass welding. My company bought a 1lb spool of ERCuSI-A that fits into my spoolgun, and I've tried doing research however I haven't had much luck. The best results I've gotten for tack welds have come from running 100% argon, voltage set at 27 and wire speed set around 700IPM. The welds are holding but I'm concerned with how well, and the finished product will have the ability to hurt someone should these tacks fail. Does anyone have any experience with this wire and can suggest some settings or offer insight on how to better ensure quality welds?
Thanks!!
