I watch JC video on stick out and I have the option of hackin off the nozzle flush to the contact tip or just buying a long contact tip.

http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/mig ... tip-1.html

SO I can hack off 1/8" off the nozzle and hope I am a good hacker ( current nozzle is 2 1/4"

The contact tip is about 1/8" recessed....( my contact tips are 1" long)

So he says just do what ever to either achieve a flush or contact tip the extends 1/8" beyond nozzle...

WHERE would I buy a 0..025 1 1/8" contact nozzle?

thanks in advance

Jody uses a cutoff wheel. I just chuck the nozzle up in the lathe and turn as much as it takes off the end. Never bothered to try to find a longer contact tip. I like my tip just even with the end of the nozzle.
