What Mig wire to use for SS to aluminized steel?

I'm planing to do some custom exhaust work. I have the Hobart Handler 140 (Mig).
I'm a beginner welder with Mig.
I want to weld a stainless steel "Catalytic Converter" to 3" steel (aluminized) exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe is 14 GA.
Should I get Stainless Steel .023 wire (if so, do I get the ER308L, ER309L, ER316L wire, or something else), or do I just weld with the regular steel .023 wire I already have.
Or should I just use clamps? If welding SS to steel is hard to do.
The rest of the exahust work is all (aluminized) steel (typical exhaust pipe). Does that take any special precautions or just weld as any steel would be?
