Gas problem..

Hi,
After struggling with a MIG problem, It looks like the root of the problem is the gas.. I'm using C2 for SS welding.. 0.030 , 316L. When I push the trigger, the wire slowly burn and drop, with a lot of soot.. After trying many different setting, with no luck at all, I took my autoweld bottle, hook it up for a test and it works perfectly.. Hooked back the C2, same problem again..
Anyone has an idea ? Could it be a bad mix in the bottle ?
thanks,
Marc
