Hello, I have recently started a job that is requiring us to test in the 6G position on 2" schedule 40 stainless and 2" schedule 40 carbon. Just curious as to what RMD settings and Pulse settings guys are using for above mentioned pipe? The welder being used is the Miller Field Pro.

rmd on carbon starting point will be around 160 and pulse around 180. I would try same setting when switching to s/s. sorry I can't find my old cheater notes. when running the root can you go down or do they want you to go up?

It is welders preference as far as running root down hill or up. Most of what I have gathered online points towards running downhill, so that's how I have been practicing. I have been setting arc length at 0.0 and wire speed at 195 on RMD and Pulse, which seems to be working well.
