Buying first MIG welder for gas

I am New to welding and metal working. I've been a long time woodworker and want to add some metal to my projects. I've done one mig project in a one day class at a local metal artist shop. I am going to start with Mig (gas) but could see doing tig in the future. My shop already has 220, though on the wrong side of the shop. Looking to purchase first welder, my budget is 500 to 1000. I want to sell some of the pieces I make so the welds have to look good. Open to your suggestions.

I like my Tweco Fabricator 211i. It does MIG, stick and lift-arc TIG. Good machine. Under a grand out the door at my LWS.

Most of the 180 amp machines, even name brand will fall in that price range.
